Event catalogue workshop
A naming day for product and engineering: verbs you will keep, ghosts you will retire, and collisions you will stop sending.
Event dictionaries rot when each squad adds a name for a button. This workshop puts product and engineering in the same room with a printed list. We group events by screen, strike duplicates, and write a verb style you can defend (for example paywall_viewed, purchase_confirmed, never both buy_click and checkout_tap for the same control).
You leave with a catalogue spreadsheet, a short “do not send” list, and owners for the names that remain. We do not implement the changes in code; your engineers take the sheet back to the next release.
The day works best with no more than eight people. Send the current list three working days ahead.
